About me
I hail from Jalandhar, Punjab, and I bring over 8 years of experience in the tech industry as a Web and Mobile App Developer, Team Lead, and Technical Project Manager. My fascination with computers began early, through video games and curiosity about how software works behind the scenes. That curiosity soon turned into a passion and a career.
I pursued my academic journey in computer science and earned a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) in 2017. Alongside my studies, I started mentoring students in programming, eventually guiding 100+ learners in building strong coding fundamentals and real-world problem-solving skills. Teaching not only strengthened my technical foundation but also shaped my mindset toward building meaningful, learner-focused solutions.
Owlbuddy and Me:
The idea of Owlbuddy took shape during my college days, but it truly came to life in mid-2019. What began as simple coding blogs soon transformed into a full-fledged learning platform when I personally designed and developed the Owlbuddy website.
Today, Owlbuddy serves as a growing knowledge hub offering tutorials and guides across multiple technologies, including Java, Python, Kotlin, PHP, Android, and more. The platform also features the Knowledge Tree, a dedicated space for staying updated with the latest trends, tools, and insights from the tech world.
Owlbuddy is not just a website. It’s a reflection of my belief that learning should be practical, honest, and accessible, regardless of background or financial limitations.
My Professional Journey Beyond Owlbuddy:
After founding Owlbuddy, I transitioned into a full-time programmer, working on real-world web and mobile applications across various domains. Over time, I grew into roles such as Team Lead and Technical Project Manager, leading teams, architecting scalable solutions, and aligning technical execution with business goals.
Today, my work extends beyond traditional development. I actively work with modern and emerging technologies, including AI-powered systems, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, intelligent automation, and advanced backend integrations. I’m also involved in a strategic partnership with Technobae (UK), collaborating on next-generation, AI-driven digital products.
My Motive Behind Owlbuddy:
The core motivation behind Owlbuddy has always been simple: to provide free, high-quality programming content to students and aspiring developers.
I’ve seen firsthand how limited access to the right resources can slow down learning. Owlbuddy exists to bridge that gap to empower learners with reliable content, practical knowledge, and confidence to build their careers in tech.
